K.C. Shaves his head!
This year I decided it was time for a fresh start so I chopped the mop and donated it to Wigs for Kids, a nonprofit organization that has been serving children suffering from hair loss since 1981. I was inspired by a friend at Florida Southern who was diagnosed with cancer about a year ago. It helped me realize just how hard it is to accept the fact of losing your hair. A simple wig can really make a big difference in restoring someone’s self-confidence. I have a feeling some kid will be rocking my curly hair way better than I did. I opted for the mohawk and a funny video to create some awareness. The mohawk was inspired from Parks Bonifay’s intro section in the wakeboard film 12 Honkeys. Sometimes videos have a way of motivating you to do what you love and have as much fun as possible doing it. That’s my hope for the videos Brooks and I do.
